RockForce Online Classes
Welcome! Each of these classes consists of two parts, the Online Class and the “In Person” Practical Evaluation. Each course you complete will earn you a CERTIFICATE, and authorize you to perform those duties.

You’ve reached our online Arena Rigging Class – nice work! The primary purpose of this course is to provide rigging instruction to RockForce employees. If you are a current employee, contact the instructor to sign up for free.

- Course material is tailored to the skill level of attendees.

Phil van Hest provides Rigging, Fall Protection, First Aid/AED/CPR, OSHA 10/30 and Heavy Equipment instruction in the LA area. Before entering the world of entertainment safety, Phil toured the world as a comic/writer/performer, and thought twice about mentioning it; rigging and safety are famously humorless subjects. Phil is the Safety and Education Manager for RockForce, and an ETCP Recognized Trainer holding ETCP certifications in Arena and Theatrical rigging. He currently resides in Orange County, another place in California named after a thing that used to be there before it got paved over.
